Availability and Price
1.1. We strive to maintain accurate stock levels of all products listed on our website. In the unlikely event that a product is out of stock, we will notify you by email and inform you when it will be available again. You will have the option to cancel that part of your order if you choose to do so.
1.2. If the item you ordered is out of stock, but we have a comparable product available, we may replace the item with another product of the same or better quality. For example, if a brand of purchased insecticide has an active ingredient of 1%, it will only be replaced by another brand of insecticide of at least this concentration.
1.3. We constantly monitor our competitors to ensure that we offer you the best possible prices. If you find an identical product available at a lower price elsewhere, we will match the price. This policy does not apply to liquidation sales, auction sites, price errors, bulk discount prices, or prices offered on unavailable stock.
Delivery
2.1. We aim to ship your order on the same day of receipt, provided that your order is placed before 4 pm. If your order is placed after this deadline, on a weekend or holiday, it will be shipped the next business day. In times of excessive demand or other exceptional circumstances, these delays may increase. If we are unable to ship your order on the same day, Z-A Enterprises Ltd and its associated companies reserve the right to ship the goods the next day. In this case, we will refund the shipping costs or cancel and refund your order in full.
2.2. We typically ship packages using Royal Mail. For lighter items, we use Royal Mail's preferred recorded delivery service. Packages are delivered within 1-2 working days. We do not offer any international shipping. Although we offer a delivery service within 2-3 business days, we cannot guarantee or accept responsibility for any delays.
2.3. If you have not received your goods within 3 business days of placing your order, please contact us, and we will provide you with the necessary information to track your shipment with the delivery company. After the carrier has picked up your package from us, the responsibility for its safe and timely delivery is transferred to them. If you have any questions or complaints about your delivery, please contact them directly.
2.4. It is your responsibility to ensure that you select the correct delivery service at the time of ordering. We cannot ship your items until the correct shipping cost has been paid. Customers in the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, the Isles of Man & Sicily, the Republic of Ireland, and Europe who select standard UK Mainland Delivery will be contacted and requested to pay the extra delivery charge.
2.5. Your delivery may require a signature. If you cannot be present to receive the delivery at the indicated address, we suggest that you choose to have your order delivered to your work or another address at the time of ordering. Deliveries can be made at any time during normal business hours (8 am to 6 pm).
2.6. If the carrier did not deliver your order either because you were not available at the address or because the address you provided is incorrect or does not exist, and your order is returned to us, we will charge a fee of £9.95 to cover the costs of sending and returning your order. Upon receipt of the returned goods, and upon request, we will reimburse you the amount remaining after deducting the shipping and return costs.
Returns and Refunds
3.1. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return it to us for a full refund or exchange within 30 days of purchase, provided that the item is in its original condition, unopened, and unused. If the product has been opened or used, we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of up to 25% of the item's value.
3.2. To return an item, please contact us to obtain a Return Authorization Number (RAN). The RAN should be included with your returned item, along with a note explaining the reason for the return.
3.3. If you receive a defective or damaged item, please contact us immediately. We will arrange for a replacement or refund, depending on your preference.
3.4. Refunds will be processed within 3-5 business days of receipt of the returned item, and will be credited to the payment method used at the time of purchase. Please note that shipping and handling charges are not refundable, unless the item is defective or damaged.
3.5. We reserve the right to refuse a return or exchange if the item has been tampered with, altered, or used in any way that is not consistent with its intended purpose.
Products
4.1. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of a product ordered or the number of repeat orders at our discretion.
4.2. Please note that rodent repellents may take 14-30 days to effectively control rodents, as this time period is required for the product to take full effect. If you are not completely satisfied with the results after this period, you may return the product by following the procedure described in point 3.2 above. Upon receipt of the returned item, we will process a full refund of your order minus shipping costs.
4.3. When using glue boards, it is important to be aware of the Animal Welfare Act 2006, which defines any animal under the control of a human being, whether temporarily or permanently, as a 'protected animal'. Therefore, an animal caught in such a trap is considered protected, and causing unnecessary suffering to the animal due to poor practice, such as failure to release or kill the animal in an appropriate manner, may be considered an offense under section 4 of this Act.
4.4. As we are unable to verify the correct use of our products, the extent of any infestation, or any other determining factor, we cannot offer any guarantee of success. Therefore, no refund can be made on the basis of "Treatment is not effective". Any complaints or questions regarding the effectiveness of the products must be submitted directly to the manufacturer concerned.
4.5. RatKil's brand logo are Registered Trademarks. The resale of any RatKil products is strictly prohibited unless prior written consent is obtained from the company's owners.
4.6. Any company or persons found to be reselling RatKil products without obtaining prior written permission may be liable for prosecution, damages, and all associated costs, on the grounds of breach of intellectual property rights and our terms and conditions of sale.
Intellectual Property
5.1. All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of Pest Expert Ltd or its content suppliers and is protected by UK and international copyright and trademark laws.
5.2. You may not use any of our trademarks or logos without our prior written consent.
Limitation of Liability
6.1. We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of our website or the information, content, materials, or products included on our website. You expressly agree that your use of our website is at your sole risk.
6.2. In no event shall Z-A Enterprises Ltd or its directors, officers, employees, agents, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use our website or the purchase of any products from our website, including but not limited to lost profits, business interruption, or loss of data.
6.3. We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Indemnification
7.1. You agree to indemnify and hold Z-A Enterprises Ltd and its directors, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your breach of these terms and conditions or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
8.1. These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. 7.2. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Changes to these Terms and Conditions
9.1. We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes to these terms and conditions will be posted on our website and will become effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of our website after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms and conditions.
